AFRICOM Technologies finalized its preparation to launch a workshop titled as "Secure your System" at the mid of April at Sheraton Addis.

The workshop will focus in discussing the main issues of security starting from securing physical resources to the extremely valuable and logical components; from the widely and clearly used access control mechanisms to the technologically advanced and complex mechanism of controlling, detection and prevention methods of threats, and responding in the event of happening are also parts to be discussed. Standard usage and implementation of security system like security topology, security policy, procedures and guidelines will be presented and sample sketches will be drawn for better understanding.

Hardware components and softwares that are usually involved in every system will be taken to be discussed one by one to understand their issues of concern and an alternative approach to deploy a better and secure system will be suggested.
